Hi!
We are holding tests normally on Thursdays and sometimes on Saturdays. These tests will help us assess how well the new expansion performs and thus help us identify any areas that need to be cleaned up to prevent lag from getting out to TQ.

How to connect to Singularity for these tests:
Best: Use the Sisi launcher tool!

Details for the mass test on Thursday [November 11] @ 20:00 GMT:
We need at least 400 pilots, preferably 550+
What exactly is being tested?
- ship death
- improvement to how objects are added and removed
- general performance
What will be the test steps?
To be decided, but probably similar to:
- Start in MHC-R3
- Jump to F67E-Q
- Warp to the Poitot gate
- Jump to Poitot
- Setup camp with Fleet W in X-BV98, warp Fleet X to X-BV98 gate
- Jump Fleet X to X-BV98, short fight
- Warp to a POS
- Shoot the POS
- Wait for the big bang
What do I need to do exactly?
- Try running logServer (in server mode), read here if you're not sure how.
- Join the channel "MassTesting"
- You will want to bring any PvP-fitted ship, drones are great, cynos for capitals will be provided
- You should pay attention to your FPS (use ctrl+f to view in-game)
- Anyone able to use multiple accounts is strongly encouraged to bring their alts!
What else should I know?
- You can get more testing information by subscribing to the "Mass Testing Info" mailing list on TQ!
- CCP staff and ISD will be on hand prior to the test to help move players to the starting location.
- Don't forget to fill out the feedback thread after the test, they link will be posted during the test.
- All participants of the mass test will get 2 million free skillpoints on Singularity as small reward

Singularity is now updated with a new build (Incursion), both auto-patch and SisiLauncher should work. Warning: The patch from Tranquility is about 1.5GB.
We are now also including a test of remapping of systems, which will happen at the end of the test.

do the 2 mill sp stay only until next mirror or are they still on your account after mirroring?
When a new mirror is put on Singularity: We are re-applying the SPs of the last three masstests, so if you have participated in all of them you will get 6M skill points.

I just updated the top post with the detailed information for tomorrow's mass test event. The start system for this test is X-M2LR this time (1 jump from FD-MLJ, but in the other direction to our normal mass test systems). FD-MLJ is the best place to prepare ships (but you can also bring a ship directly to BY-S36 for the fight, but we might change this system in the last minute).
@Salus hazzar: I assume you need to add /server:Singularity to your shortcut for the Sisi client, as this client tries to connect to an internal test server (which runs another build). More information at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity.
@Felix Archon, Lucifer Lollipop: We changed code-branch this patch, which causes the fact, that there is no direct patch from yesterday's Sisi version to today's version. The new branch caused also to failure of patches (like the TQ-Sisi patch), which is being worked on.
Best workaround (as long as you use Windows) is SisiLauncher, which can be downloaded here: SisiLauncher

Today's mass-test had to be canceled due to problems with the patches and with starting up Singularity. 
The next mass-test will be next week either on Tuesday or on Thursday - stay tuned...

Hi! I updated the top post with details about the mass test event tomorrow. We are mostly testing missile performance improvements. We will start in Harroule in low sec with a short POS-bash. Then we will move to the next system MHC-R3, have a short fight at the gate and we will finish with shooting at some NPCs at a planet. Maybe we'll add 1-2 additional steps on the fly, but this depends on the test results and how fast we are.
We are mostly interested in missile ships, but we want a good mix included other weapon types. It would be awesome, if we could have a few bombs (from stealth bombers) at the gate camp. Cynos will be provided, a few citadel torpedoes would be awesome in the mix.
Please update your clones before the test if possible, as the bombs might kill your pods (and I don't like to reimburse any skillpoints).

The top post has been updated with information about the upcoming mass test this Thursday, where we will be testing some general server code improvements.
We apologize to all mac users, as the mac client will very probably not be available for this test (it is still being worked on). Furthermore EveVoice will not be available during this test. Please use the chat-channels for communicating within the fleets/
In other news: I have collected most static information about mass testing in an Evelopedia page: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mass_testing If you participated more often and you find anything missing or bad formulated, feel free to correct it yourself (if you are familiar with editing a wiki) or post here (and I'll take care of it). If you have any ideas on how to improve the mass tests, just continue to post them here. I read them all, even if I do not reply to each suggestion or complaint.

Today's mass test is running on a new mirror and the new test server rules apply! More information can be found here: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Test_server_rules
The mass test will start at 20:00 UTC in MHC-R3, two jumps from the new primary testing system 6-CZ49.

Yes, the mass test this week will be on Singularity.
The client for the mass test will be quite similar to the current Sisi client (at least if you are using SisiLauncher as we might change to a release candidate). The plan is to have the correct patch active on Wednesday evening.

Which full installer did you download? http://content.eveonline.com/test/EVE_Premium_Setup_244003_test_m.exe? Installing this should give you access to Singularity without having to patch anything else.

Singularity is now updated with the correct patch for tonights mass test. If you find any problems with patching, please report in this thread.
Decorum'Est: There is no new mirror with this test.
chaosjj: Mac patches should be available (but I have not verified myself that they work, as I have no Mac)

The first post is updated with the details for tomorrow's mass test. We are on Duality and SisiLauncher should now also support Duality with version 1.25 (but Duality is not online yet).

Duality is still being prepared for the mass test (it is getting a new mirror). The patch will be quite small this time, as most changes are server-side.

Singularity was updated 2 hours ago. There might be another update till the mass test, but it should be only a small patch for fixing UI bugs.

Yes, Logistics will be fine, but it would be even better, if you can fit one weapon or use a sentry drone to shoot at the POS.
